Course objectives
Hands on experience in a state of the art dissection laboratory. One of the few opportunities in the world of working on fresh cadaver specimens under a scheme of personalized instruction to analyze and perform the most frequently used procedures in microsurgery and laryngeal framework surgery
Please be aware that this kind of instruction is exclusively directed to ENT specialists who are competent in differential diagnosis in laryngeal pathology and diagnostic methods in laryngology (Laryngostroboscopy).

In the case of the dissection workshop, since the number of participants is strictly limited, the assignment of a place will follow strictly payment order. Those who have sent all the required information and have the credentials on basic laryngology training must make sure tuition payment is received no later than March 23rd .

At the end of the course participants will be capable of:

  • Recognizing the anatomical limits for dissection in microsurgery as well as in laryngeal framework surgery.
  • Understanding differences, advantages, disadvantages and possible complications of different surgical techniques.
  • Handling basic phonosurgical techniques.
  • Handling laryngeal framework surgery techniques
  • Analyzing risk factors in laryngeal surgery
  • Recognizing possible intraoperative complications
  • Identifying crucial requirements in order to be able reach the capacity of offering safe surgical interventions with the necessary precision the specialty requires.
  • Understanding indispensable requisites of an adequate anesthetic technique for microsurgical and airway procedures.

Tuition:
USD $ 2750 (two thousand seven hundred and fifty dollars) 
Attendance to this workshop is limited to a small group of specialists and confirmation can only be granted by means of tuition payment, which must be received no later than March 24, 2008.
