Developing Advanced Surgical Techniques
Our research focuses on laryngeal surgical anatomy and vocal fold morphology. We pioneer new techniques to restore vocal fold vibration in cases of scarring or sulcus vocalis, utilizing specialized lasers and custom-designed instruments for airway and phonomicroscopy surgery.
High-Fidelity Surgical Simulation
We utilize exclusive tools, such as the laryngeal simulation support developed by Dr. Campos. This system allows for precise training in direct laryngoscopy and robotic CO_2 laser surgery, ensuring high-level proficiency before entering the operating room.
