Children or adults who require a precise diagnostic workup and a treatment plan with the aim  to recover a good voice quality whenever it is altered as a consequence of different circumstances. By means of the use of state of the art diagnostic equipments, with a technique for close up examination of the vocal folds developed by Dr. Campos, along with high definition video systems, it is possible to detect, wit a high level of precision, lesions and structural changes of the vocal folds that are often overlooked with other diagnostic methods.

We have ample experience in the diagnosis and treatment  of voice professionals (Professional singers, popular singers, preachers, speakers, entertainers, presenters, orators, actors).

In properly selected cases, and after having a high precision diagnosis, the possibility of surgical treatment is offered, techniques known as Phonosurgery (Surgical tecniques developed to remodel the vocal folds and related structures with the aim of recovering their vibratory capabilities, using several modalities, like procedures with microsurcial instruments or laser microsurgery, depending on the specific needs of every indivudual). Our main objective in those cases that require surgery  is rapid recovery of function, so the vast majority of patients can reinitiate their professional activities a few weeks after the inervention.

We also take care of those who have obstructive problems of the superior airway (pharynx, larynx, trachea) due to different causes (congenital, trauma, stenosis caused by prolongued intubation, etc), working closely with a team of anesthesiologists with expertise in management of the difficult airway. Most cases of laryngotracheal stenosis in our hands are managed by means of minimally invasive procedures, with progressive reconstruction, with no need for neck incisions, and, in ghe vast majority of cases, without a tracheostomy.

Furthermore, we have vast experience in the management of Recurrent Respiratory Papillomatosis in patients of all ages, with progressive treatments using endoscopic laser systems, achieving very satisfactory control of the disease while taking special care to prevent sequelae related to permeability of the airway and voice quality.

Along with a team of specialists of the Reflux Clinic of the Fundación Santa Fé University Hospital, we take care of symptoms and complications of gastric reflux disease, which frequently affects in an important manner the voice and the airway.
